4 WEEK V&T PROGRAM
At Volunteer & Travel, we are passionate about providing travelers with a unique and authentic experience. Our 4 week program takes you on a journey through the beautiful and captivating culture of Kwazulu/Natal. You'll get to explore the townships, immerse yourself in the language, taste the delicious food and help needy children in the area.

ITINERARY
Week 1: Orientation and Volunteering

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive at the airport, where you'll be picked up by a representative.

Transfer to the volunteer center located south of Durban.

Welcome dinner with fellow volunteers.
Days 2-7: Volunteer Work and Local Exploration

Mondays & Wednesdays: Volunteer activities at the center:

Cooking for the children, teaching, playing sports, gardening, etc.

Administrative tasks at the Durban office.

Tuesdays & Thursdays: Visit the Kwa-Mashu Center for food distribution:

Deliver food to the local community and caregivers.

Personal time for shopping or exploration afterward.

Fridays-Sundays: Continue with volunteering.
Week 2: Volunteer Work and Coastal Exploration

Days 8-14: Volunteer Activities and Coastal Fun

Engage in your volunteer activities from Monday to Thursday.

On Friday, take time to explore the beautiful beaches of Durban.

Spend the weekend volunteering and enjoying the local culture.
Week 3: Safari and Nature Adventures

Days 15-21: Wildlife and Nature Experiences

Monday to Thursday: Continue with your volunteer activities.

On Friday, embark on a Hluhluwe/iMfolozi Safari for a weekend wildlife adventure.

Explore Lake St. Lucia with a hippo boat cruise.

Enjoy a guided walk in the Drakensberg Mountains.
Week 4: Cultural Immersion and Adventure

Engage in volunteer work from Monday to Thursday.

Take a guided Durban city tour to explore the local attractions.

Experience a township tour to learn about local communities and culture.

Try activities like surfing, stand-up paddling, or scuba diving.

Departure: Reflect and Farewell
