ITINERARY

Durban to Cape Town Expedition: Wild Coast to Garden Route

 

Day 1-2: Durban to Drakensberg

  • Depart from Durban and head south on the N2.

  • Arrive at in the Drakensberg Mountains.

  • Enjoy a two-day stay, exploring the stunning mountain landscapes and possibly taking a guided hike to Lesotho.

 

Day 3-4: Drakensberg to Wild Coast (Cintsa/Coffee Bay)

  • Drive towards the Wild Coast region, famous for its rugged beauty.

  • Stay in Cintsa or Coffee Bay for two days.

  • Explore the pristine beaches, go hiking along the cliffs, and experience the local culture.

 

Day 5: Addo Elephant National Park

  • Head to Addo Elephant National Park for an exciting safari day.

  • Observe a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and more.

 

Day 6: Jeffrey's Bay

  • Drive to Jeffrey's Bay, a renowned surfing destination.

  • Spend the day catching waves or enjoying the beach.

 

Day 7: Tsitsikamma National Park

  • Travel to Tsitsikamma National Park.

  • Go canoeing on the Storms River and marvel at the coastal beauty.

  • Explore the suspension bridge and hiking trails in the park.

 

Day 8-9: Plettenberg Bay

  • Continue to Plettenberg Bay, a charming coastal town.

  • Spend two days exploring the Robberg Nature Reserve, relaxing on the beach, and visiting local attractions.

 

Day 10: Oudtshoorn and Cango Caves
