ITINERARY
10-Week Volunteer & Travel Experience
Welcome to South Africa! This 10-week Volunteer & Travel experience is designed to provide you with an immersive and impactful journey while exploring the rich cultural and natural diversity of this beautiful country.
Week 1: Arrival & Orientation Day 1

Pick up from the airport.

Transfer to the volunteer center in the South of Durban.

Welcome dinner and orientation with fellow volunteers.
Weeks 2-9: Volunteering & Cultural Immersion
Mondays & Wednesdays

8:30 am: Start the day at the volunteer center.

Engage in various activities, including cooking for the children, teaching, playing sports, hygiene routines, feeding, tending the vegetable garden, and painting the center.

Administrative tasks at the Durban office.

3:30 pm: End of the day at the center.

Optional beach time in the afternoon.
Tuesdays & Thursdays

8:30 am: Drive to Kwa-Mashu Center (45 mins away).

Distribute food to children, local community, caregivers, and staff.

Food pickup for volunteer house.

2:00 pm: Return to the volunteer house.

Optional mall or supermarket visit.
Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays

6:00 am: Depart for weekend road trips to different destinations.

Explore Johannesburg, Soweto, Kruger National Park, Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Park, Addo Elephant Park, Blyde River Canyon, and more.
