Service Description

Week 1: Orientation and Volunteering Start Day 1 (Monday): Arrival Arrive in South Africa, airport pick up and transfer to shared accommodation. Welcome and orientation session. Get settled and rest. Day 2-5 (Tuesday-Friday): Volunteer Work Volunteer work from 8am to 2pm. Engage in community projects, such as teaching, construction, or healthcare support. Afternoons free for relaxation and cultural exploration. Week 2: Kruger National Park and Wildlife Experience Day 6-7 (Saturday-Sunday): Kruger National Park Safari Early morning departure for Kruger National Park. Two-day guided safari with opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. Overnight stay in Kruger. Week 3: Natural Wonders and City Exploration Day 8-10 (Monday-Wednesday): Blyde River Canyon and Johannesburg Travel to Blyde River Canyon (Motlatse Canyon), explore viewpoints and hiking trails. Return to Johannesburg. Johannesburg city tour, visiting landmarks and experiencing the local culture. Day 11-12 (Thursday-Friday): Soweto Tour and Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Safari Soweto tour to learn about South Africa's history and apartheid. Travel to Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Reserve. Two-day safari experience. Week 4: Coastal Adventures and Underwater Exploration Day 13-14 (Saturday-Sunday): Lake St Lucia Hippo Boat Cruise and Beach Relaxation Lake St Lucia hippo boat cruise. Relax on the beach, swim, and enjoy coastal vibes. Day 15-16 (Monday-Tuesday): Scuba Diving and Beach Activities Scuba diving experience for certified divers. Beach activities, snorkeling, or beach sports. Week 5: Urban Exploration and Cultural Immersion Day 17-18 (Wednesday-Thursday): Township Tour and Durban City Exploration Township tour for insights into local communities and culture. Explore Durban's city center, markets, and local attractions. Day 19-20 (Friday-Saturday): Traditional Zulu Food and Food Markets Cooking session to learn about traditional Zulu cuisine. Visit local food markets, sample diverse dishes. Week 6: Farewell and Reflection Day 21-22 (Sunday-Monday): Farewell and Reflection Wrap up volunteer activities and say goodbye to the local community. Reflect on your experiences and achievements during the program. Cultural activities or free time. Day 23-24 (Tuesday-Wednesday): Final Exploration and Departure Final days for exploring, shopping, or relaxing. Departure preparations. Depart South Africa and airport drop off. Cancellation Policy

Volunteer & Travel Terms and Conditions These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Volunteer & Travel (referred to as "we," "us," or "our") and any individual or organization (referred to as "you" or "your") participating in our volunteer and travel programs. By enrolling in any of our programs, you agree to abide by these terms. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully: 1. Program Eligibility: Participants must meet the minimum age requirements specified for each program. Some programs may have specific skills or qualifications prerequisites, which will be clearly outlined in the program details. 2. Application and Enrollment: Completing the program application does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to review and select participants based on eligibility and suitability for the program. You must provide accurate and complete information during the application process. 3. Program Fees and Payments: Program fees are outlined in the program details and are subject to change at our discretion. A non-refundable deposit may be required upon enrollment, and the full payment is typically due before the start of the program. Payments can be made through approved methods, and you are responsible for any associated transaction fees. 4. Cancellation and Refunds: If you need to cancel your participation in a program, you must notify us in writing. The refund policy will depend on the program type and the time of cancellation. Refunds for cancellations may be subject to a deduction of administrative fees or non-recoverable expenses. In the event that we need to cancel a program, we will provide a full refund of program fees. 5. Health and Insurance: You must possess adequate health insurance coverage that is valid in the destination country for the duration of the program. Some programs may require medical evaluations or vaccinations, which you must complete at your own expense. 6. Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to adhere to the local laws, customs, and cultural norms of the destination country. Respectful and appropriate behavior towards fellow participants, locals, and program staff is mandatory. Any actions that jeopardize personal safety or the reputation of Volunteer & Travel will result in immediate dismissal from the program at your own expense. 7. Program Changes: We reserve the right to modify program itineraries, locations, or activities for reasons such as safety concerns or unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to inform participants of any changes before the program start date. 8. Liability and Indemnification: Volunteer & Travel is not liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, illness, accident, delay, or inconvenience experienced by participants during the program. Participants are required to sign a liability waiver before the start of the program. 9. Intellectual Property: Any intellectual property, including but not limited to photographs, videos, or written materials, created during the program may be used by Volunteer & Travel for promotional purposes. 10. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Volunteer & Travel is registered. By enrolling in our volunteer and travel programs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in dismissal from the program without refund. If you have any questions or concerns about these terms, please contact us before proceeding with your application. Volunteer & Travel Cancellation Policy At Volunteer & Travel, we understand that circumstances may change, and participants may need to cancel their enrollment in a program. We have established the following cancellation policy to be fair to all participants and to ensure the smooth operation of our programs: 1. Cancellation by the Participant: If you need to cancel your participation in a program, you must notify us in writing (via email or official communication channels). The date of cancellation will be based on the date we receive your written notification. The following cancellation fees will apply: More than 60 days before the program start date: A non-refundable deposit will be forfeited. 31 to 60 days before the program start date: 50% of the total program fee will be refunded, excluding the non-refundable deposit. 30 days or less before the program start date: No refund will be provided. In certain exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies, visa denials), we may consider partial refunds on a case-by-case basis, subject to verification and documentation. 2. Cancellation by Volunteer & Travel: While rare, Volunteer & Travel reserves the right to cancel a program due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient enrollment. If we cancel a program, participants will receive a full refund of all program fees paid. 3. Participant Replacement: If you are unable to participate in the program, you may have the option to find a suitable replacement candidate. The replacement candidate must meet all program eligibility requirements and be approved by Volunteer & Travel. Participant replacements are subject to administrative fees, and the original participant will be responsible for coordinating the transfer of their enrollment. 4. Program Changes or Termination: Volunteer & Travel reserves the right to modify or terminate a program due to safety concerns, changes in local conditions, or unforeseen events. In the event of program changes or termination, participants will be offered alternative program options or a partial refund, depending on the circumstances. 5. Refund Process: Refunds will be processed within a reasonable time after approval of the cancellation request. Refunds will be made using the same method of payment used for the initial transaction, unless otherwise agreed upon. Please note that some programs may have specific cancellation policies or additional terms, which will be outlined in the program details and communicated to participants during the application process. By enrolling in our volunteer and travel programs, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the terms of this cancellation policy.
